Our new co-directors, Aesha Rasheed and Wendi Moore-O’Neal, are certainly not new to SONG or movement work. They’ve been part of SONG’s family for years, serving in a multitude of roles and in deep community with SONG members and founders over the years. New Orleans-based SONG member and organizing fellow, Ra Imhotep, sat with them to hear firsthand accounts from Aesha and Wendi about how they got into movement, how SONG became a deep part of their lives, and what called them into this new role.
