Introducing Robert-John; that’s two words, one name. Very Southern, very sassy! Robert-John hails from the Deep South -born in Texas and raised in South Carolina. He has been throwing down with Southerners on New Ground since 2000. He came on staff in the summer of 2020. Robert-John’s political home is rooted in his relationships with BIPOC/Queer/Trans/Freedom fighters who are terraforming a new South and creating a more just world. He builds altars for our ancestors and believes in the Alchemy of Queer Joy! Whether in the back alley of your local watering hole or the halls of the Rotunda, Robert-John keeps it one hundred and models liberation in our lifetime.
