Let us keep breathing. Let us keep allowing grief to wash over us and our love for our people to fill us. Let us feel our ancestors at our back. Let us keep reaching out, checking in on, and holding each other. We have been here before; in fact, the true history and story of how this country was made is showing. 

Liberation has never been on a ballot, but we have more clarity about what time it is. In your grief, in your rage, remember that who wins an election is not what brings about Beloved Community. Our love for each other is what will liberate us. They rule to consolidate Empire. We build to embrace life and to make Empire impossible. 

Our survival depends on us coming together across issues, cultures, and difference. We must meet at the intersection of our experiences and choose to relentlessly engage in principled struggle, choose to make plans, choose to take risks, and choose to build our muscles for hope, organizing, and experimentation. 

The moment will ask more of us as members, comrades, and kindred. It is coming together and leaning into both care and action that will fortify us to make liberation possible for ourselves and our people.
