¡Prepárate para el #MovementSONGchallenge!

SONG está lanzando un concurso para recaudar y compilar todos nuestros favoritos cantos y canciones del movimiento. Inspirados por los elementos culturales utilizados en nuestra lucha por la liberación a través de la historia, solicitamos las canciones y cantos que nos dan animo en las marchas, las manifestaciones y las acciones directas. Mientras que se reúne con sus seres queridos y familiares durante esta temporada de vacaciones, grabe un video de usted o su equipo realizando su canto o canción favorita del movimiento. Después de hacer su video, etiquete y rete a otro miembro de SONG para que también realice un video. ¡El individuo o el equipo que publica el mejor video ganará premios de SONG! La fecha límite para el concurso es el 9 de febrero de 2018.

Siga estas instrucciones:

  • Grabe un video de usted o su equipo, realizando su canción o canto del movimiento favorito. Puede ser original o una canción/canto ya escrito.
  • Proporcione el título de la canción/canto, las letras y origen (si corresponde)
  • Publicar en redes sociales: Facebook, Twitter o Instagram (¡o todos!)
  • Usa el cuadrillo #MovementSONGchallenge y etiqueta @ignitekindred
  • Rete a otro miembro de SONG para que también publique un video
  • Puede volver a publicar canciones/cantos que ya se han publicado, pero solo se usará una versión en la compilación final.
  • Busque el cuadrillo #MovementSONGchallenge para ver qué canciones/cantos ya se han publicado.
  • Como compilaremos estas canciones/cantos y las compartiremos en toda nuestrx base, pedimos que las palabras de maldición sean reemplazadas, omitidas o sondeadas. Use asteriscos en la versión de texto también.
  • Siéntense libre en publicar videos en cualquier idioma. La compilación final tendrá versiones en inglés y español.
  • Si su video es seleccionado para la compilación final, SONG podra contactarlxs para que envíen su video directamente.

Get ready for the #MovementSONGchallenge!

Get ready for the #MovementSONGchallenge! SONG is launching a contest to collect and compile all of our favorite movement chants and songs. Inspired by cultural elements used in our fight for liberation throughout history, we are calling on the songs and chants that keep us moving forward in marches, rallies and direct actions. As you gather with loved ones and family over this holiday season, record a video of you or your crew performing your favorite movement chant or song. After you make your video, tag and challenge another SONG member to also post a video. The individual or crew who posts the best video will win SONG swag! The deadline for the contest is February 9th, 2018.

Follow these Instructions:

  • Record a video of you or your crew performing your favorite movement chant or song. It can be an original or an already written song/chant.
  • Provide the song/chant title, lyrics and a source (if applicable)
  • Post to social media: Facebook, Twitter or Instagram (or all!)
  • Use the hashtag #MovementSONGchallenge and tag @ignitekindred
  • Challenge another SONG member to also post a video.
  • You can post songs/chants that have already been posted, but only one version will be used in the final compilation.
  • Search the hashtag #MovementSONGchallenge to see which songs/chants have already been posted.
  • Since we’ll be compiling these song/chants and sharing to our entire base, we ask that curse words be replaced, skipped or beeped out. Use asterisks in text version as well.
  • Feel free to post videos in any language. The final compilation will have versions in English and Spanish.
  • If your video is selected for the final compilation, you may be contacted by SONG to submit your video directly.
