Virginia Writing and Political Education (Round 2)

December 20, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Join SONG Virginia members for Round 2 of Virginia W.A.P. (Writing And Political education program). This new initiative is focused on exchanging letters with folks incarcerated and prison abolition education. As the leader of the 1971 Attica Prison uprising, Frank “Big Black” Smith famously says “Attica is all of us”, meaning the way we treat people behind bars, is a reflection of how our society treats all of us.

All are welcome to join! If you are new to exchanging letters come to learn how to navigate the system and get writing. If you already write or have your own program, join us for political education.
