Granted Summer 2018
This team proposed that SONG spend $500-$1000 to acquire cryptocurrency as a nest egg. Our grassroots
fundraising team ("Make It Rain") can choose to sell them at any time. The goals were:
- Exploring how a regional body can practice self-governance through community-held assets.
- Building out our members' financial literacy; explain how cryptocurrencies and financial investment systems work
- Turning a profit.
The project resulted in the creation of a zine about SONG, money and cryptocurrency.
