Granted Summer 2018
This team advocated for legislation to provide menstrual products to incarcerated folks and in all Birmingham City Schools and municipal buildings. The goal was to increase menstrual health access. This project is led by queer and trans people who are committed to ensuring queer and trans people have equal access to menstrual care. They are dedicated to prison abolition and have been inspired by SONG’s bail-out efforts to think of community approaches.
