Convenings
Squad Up, Skill Up, Slay Organizing School – Knoxville, TN
July 22, 2021 - July 24, 2021
Queer South Revival is a time where we come together face to face to fortify our spirits, see each other’s faces, reflect on the moment, and uplink our local experiences and organizing with a broader regional understanding. We need more focused time and space together to assess both our collective strengths, weak points or soft spots, and what we are positioned to do and move as an organization. Queer South Revival will be held Thursday, March 5th through Sunday, March 8th at the Franklinton Center in Whitakers, North Carolina #QSR2020

Join us for our annual Bayard Rustin Convening! Bayard Rustin is an opportunity for SONG’s Black, Brown, and people of color membership to come together to build and deepen relationships, learn about each other’s work, engage in political dialogue and share strategies to advance our organizing campaigns and political vision for the South.
SONG’s Free From Fear Campaign Convergence invites leaders of SONG’s Free From Fear campaigns across the Southeast fighting to End Pretrial Detention and to Melt ICE together for a three-day summit to share strategy, tactics, tools, and build together to fight stronger and to win! This will be SONG’s sixth campaign convergence since developing and launching our regional campaign in 2015.
