Join SONG and our comrades June 14th from 1-2:30pm ET/12-1:30pm CT for the second installment of Skill Up for All: A workshop series on the fundamentals of Community Organizing and Direct Action Planning! \nLast Sunday we are started with the basics and this week we are taking those concepts and applying them to a case study: Justice and Reformation for Marcus-David Peters in Richmond\, Virginia. This training will delve into the strategy and tactics behind this campaign\, spanning from 2013 to now. \nContent warning: this training WILL NOT depict any police violence against Black bodies\, but facilitators will discuss the nature of the murder of Marcus-David Peters.
